![]() ![]() I don't see any great new gameplay mechanics for Orghotts.Which would open a place for all three Stooges in the Norsca roster or WoC or Nurgle god-race. So we can assume that the tribe, despite living maybe a bit further north in Kurgan territory, still counts more toward the Norse side. TWW has already the Icehorn Marauders RoR.Or with moving Malus Darkblade, we can make also space in IME. ![]() So in theory, CA adding a region for Icehorn Peak and throwing a Nurgle LL around there, would at least work for RoC. Both Orghotts and Morbidix found their Pox Maggoths in the Eternal Lagoon, which we can pinpoint. ![]() Since they are mentioned to live far in the north, near the realm of Chaos barrier, its hard to pinpoint. Sadly I have no map location for that faction. Orghotts leads the Icehorn tribe who lives at Icehorn Peak.Still, since Orghotts is treated as their leader in the campaign book, we could argue that the other two stooges probably might work better as Legendary Heroes for Orghotts campaign (all three in the same armystack would indeed look better). So they will each have their own chances to shine. But the other two stooges are also special chars who could lead armies and costed Lord points. Naturally that puts him in a slightly more relevant position for an LL spot. Orghotts is from the campaign book regarded more or less as the leader of three riders, and the army that follows. And on that front we could also field the other melee stooge Morbidix. Alas we have quite a few melee focused Nurgle characters to choose from, so his mount might be the only real difference. The combined profile makes Orghotts pretty strong in melee, especially with his magical axes. we have another melee focused character here. For which they most certainly never were made in the first place. The combined forces looked like thisĪs a sidenote: While the three stooges are around in the Glottkin campaign book, the Black Library novel "Endtimes: Fall of Altdorf" does not mention any of the three.Īfaik as I remember the Maggoth Riders had no real shining moment, but all three survived the battle of AltdorfĮven if they were never mentioned again afterwards.Īll three also somehow survived the destruction of the world, so of course they could run around the new AoS playgrounds. But then they were reinforced by Epidemius and could raze the town. When Orghotts forces branded upon Talabheim, they struggled with the cities defenses. It is a monster like a Dragon, Griffon or Manticore.ĭuring the Endtimes in 2525+ IC, Orghotts lead one of the three Nurgle armies which aimed for Altdorf. So please do not mistake the Pox Maggoth for "monstrous cav". Noteworthy here is the "new" shared monster/rider profile they did for Endtimes stuff (probably prepping for AoS). Which only allowed to build one of the three possible characters, which I often refer to as the Three Stooges.ĭuring 8th edition "The (Horrible) Endtimes", the second campaign book (Glottkin) GW put out was all about Nurgle and introduced several new characters. It is noteworthy that during Endtimes the "Maggoth Lords" came as multibox 2K A Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia.848 A Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai. ![]()
